Organic and Natural Model Farm
UV Organic permaculture Farm is located near river Ganga at Garhmukteshwar, Hapur. Permaculture is an agriculture practice where farming practices are carried out with sustainable methods of conserving our natural resources such as land water and air.
At UV Organic permaculture farm we have created an environment where fruits and vegetables are grow together along with cereals and different pulses. A combination of all the season crops grown on our farm is such that it supports all the crops. Biodiversity of different plants is created which helps in natural Pest management.
Every year during mango season (From June to August) around 500 to 600 people visit our farm along with their friends and family members to understand natural and organic farming practices and also to enjoy natural and organic environment of our farm. They have become a family member of our F.P.O as they buy Our F.P.O products on regular basis. The farm visit is open for everyone to come and know the basic concept of natural and organic farming.
What We Offer
1) More that 30 varieties of fruits and vegetable are grown at our farm. Along with farming we also practice bee keeping and animal husbandry at our farm as we have made the honey bees and some cows our family members.
2) The natural fertilizer and natural pesticides are made at farm with cow dung and cow urine which we use for farming. We promote Natural fertilizers among our FPO farmers to reduce the use of Chemical fertilizers in farming.
3) River Ganga is 4 kilometer away from our farm where our farm visitors go to pay tribute to sacred river Ganga and enjoy the natural bath.
4) The whole idea of developing this permaculture farm is to bring farmers and consumers together and to create link between them so that metro city people can come to the farmers farm and buy their produce which they buy from market, also it educates the consumers about various harmful chemicals practices which is bringing the poison to their food
